Betty Louise Keeney

Betty Louise Keeney, age 77 passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, TX. She was born on December 30, 1946 in Jonesboro, Arkansas the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Hopkins) Cooper.

She was an avid gardener, who also enjoyed crafting, cooking, and word search puzzles. Betty spent countless hours reading and fishing. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, although, spending any holiday with her family was time well spent.  

Betty was a devoted mother who loved her family with a passion. She was affiliated with the Assemblies of God Church. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dorothy Cooper; husband, Jerry Ronald Keeney, Sr.; brother, Marvin Henry Cooper; sister, Helen Pillow.

Betty leaves behind to cherish her love and memory; children, Sherry Keeney of Haworth, OK, Jerry Ronald Keeney, Jr. and wife, Adrianne of North Dakota; grandchildren, Joe Mosley, Taylor Lawson, Morgan Jones, Dakota Jones, Justin Keeney, Lexie Keeney; great-grandchildren, Archer Castro, Jayden Mosley, Melanie Mosley; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday 29, 2024 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Philadelphia Cemetery with Jimmy Smalling officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the funeral home.
