Francisco Hernandez-Mendez

Francisco Hernandez-Mendez, age 54 passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on April 2, 1965 in Mexico, the son of Ignacio Hernandez and Estefana Mendez. 

 
Francisco was a fence builder and landscaper by trade. He was very proud of the job he did and very much enjoyed his work. He loved to spend time with family and friends. Francisco was a member of the St Francis De Sales Catholic Church and had lived in Idabel since 1992 coming from Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Francisco is survived by his wife, Maria Ruiz-Flores of Idabel, OK; a son, Francisco Hernandez Jr. of Abilene, TX; daughters, Estefan Hernandez of Sherman, TX, Norma Hernandez-Ruiz of Sherman, TX, Laura Hernandez-Ruiz of Denison, TX and Raquel Hernandez-Ruiz of Denison, TX; brother, Lucas Hernandez-Mendez; sisters, Agapita Hernandez-Mendez and Isaias Hernandez-Mendez; nephews, Marcial Aguilar-Hernandez, Shorty Hernandez, Cirilo Hernandez-Aguilar, Sabino Hernandez-Aguilar, Hector Mendez, Victor Mendez and Ruben Mendez; 7 grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.  

The funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the St Francis De Sales Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery.
