William White Obituary
William Raymond "Buck" White, 81, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at Sherman, TX. He was born May 8, 1938 at West Plains, MO, the son Raymond and Evelyn Clark White. Buck married Virginia Carol Jamison on November 30, 1985.
Buck was a working man and had numerous jobs throughout his life. He began his working career at the Southern Hills Country Club where he worked with his children's grandfather. He then went on to work for Coca Cola, Federal Mogul, Allied Bearings and Costal Plains. Buck later worked for and retired from Motion Industries in Idabel in 2000.
As a young man, Buck spent many days as a race car driver earning many trophies along the way. He had a passion for bowling and spent many hours at the local bowling alley.
An avid outdoorsman, Buck enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved playing golf with Carol and his golfing buddies. Buck was devoted to his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Louise Johnston, his stepchildren, LaRay Tidmore, Dwain Tidmore, his stepgrandson, Cody Tidmore and mother-in-law, Mary Nell Jamison.
Buck is survived by his wife; Virginia Carol White; son, Randy White and wife Terri of Claremore, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Vikki Milne and Wendell of Muskogee, OK, Cheri Harkreader and Phillip of Muskogee, OK and Kelea White; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; father-in-law, Frankie Jamison of Idabel; brother and sister-in-law, Gary White and Donna of Tulsa, OK; sisters-in-law; Linda Hicks and Jimmy of Garvin, OK, Pat Guest and Gerald of Valliant, OK; brothers-in-law, John Paul Jamison of Garvin, OK and Joe Bill Jamison and Susan of Idabel, OK; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the White Family Chapel.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund account has been set up at the First State Bank in Idabel.
