Alan Farley, 42, of Redland, OK, was born in Idabel, OK, on August 25, 1977, and passed away on June 30, 2020, in Dallas, TX, after a month-long battle with an infection that had lodged in his heart.
Some people don capes and fight injustice; some are great uncles. Alan was the latter but loved reading stories about the former. Alan graduated from Haworth High School, Class of 1995. He managed the plumbing supply store BeMac in Idabel at his time of death.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 5, 2020, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at White Family Funeral Home.
Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, a private service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020, at 2:00 pm at the White Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Victor Balagbagan officiating. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home’s official Facebook page.
Alan is preceded in death by his father Rusty Farley; nephew Heath Farley; grandparents Elmer and Estelle Farley and Eleanor Snyder; and uncle Joe Whala.
Alan is survived by his mother Alison Farley of Idabel, OK; sisters Bethany Farley of Idabel, OK, and Stephanie Farley of Redland, OK; grandfather Edward Snyder of Wenatchee, WA; nieces Kyleigh, Chloe, and Cambrie Farley of Redland, OK; aunts and uncles Kenneth and Debbie Farley of Idabel, OK, Kathy Whala of Redland, OK, Larry and Carol Porton of Wheeler, TX, Fred and Tracy Walder of San Francisco, CA, Mike and Kim Robison of Newalla, OK, and Shelley Snyder of Gilson, IL; cousins Christi Hatley, Jason Porton, Daniel Whala, MacKenzie Farley, Brianne Johnson, Drew Robison, Larissa Walder, and Cameron Robison; and countless other friends and family members.
