Alphanse Martinez

Alfonso (Alphanse) Martinez, age 86 passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Idabel, OK. He was born on October 30, 1934, in Mexico, the son of Jesus Martinez and Carmen Moran Martinez.

Alphanse worked at Tyson Foods for several years and retired from there. He served in the Mexican Army as a young man. Alphanse was a hard worker and always helped others in need. He loved spending time with all his children and grandkids. Alphanse enjoyed farming, gardening, bull riding, watching western movies and wrestling. He was happy staying busy and working on new projects.

He was preceded in death by his parents;

Alphanse leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Jessie and Elizabeth Martinez of Overton, TX, Ramon and Laura Martinez, of Longview, TX, Jamie Martinez and Marcello Martinez, of Tyler, TX; his daughter, Roselind Martinez of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Jameia, Aaliyah, and Denisha Booth, Isabella, Ramon, and Elliana Martinez; siblings, Luz, Mercedes Martinez and Chuy Martinez; several nieces, nephews and many other friends and relatives.
