Andy Steele

Clinton Andrew “Andy” Steele passed away on September 13, 2024 at the age of 35 at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. He was born on September 11, 1989, in Talihina, Oklahoma to Roger and Shanna Steele. Andy married his true love, Taylor Loman in DeQueen, AR on November 27, 2017.

He was a passionate drummer, who not only pursued a career in music but also cherished it as his favorite pastime. His love for music was paralleled by his affection for animals and a deep unconditional love for his family and friends.

Andy was known for his vibrant sense of humor, often lightening the mood and reminding those around him not to take life too seriously. His personality was an inspiration of joy and laughter in the lives of those he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Amos and Sweely Steele; great-grandmother, Hafis Willie; great aunt, Susie May Holt and uncle, Bill Williams.

Andy leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Taylor Steele of the home; parents, Roger and Shanna Steele of Idabel, OK; sisters, Anmarie (Brandon) Edwards of Idabel, OK, Emily Steele of Idabel, OK, Mandy (Cory) Nelson of Millerton, OK; grandparents, Mike and Lydia McClure of Idabel; two special nephews, Atticus Steele and Amos Steele-Edwards of Idabel, OK; very special great aunt, Marie Williams; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at White Family Funeral Home in Idabel, OK. A meal will follow at the Idabel Choctaw Nation Community Center.
