Ann Johnson

Ann Johnson, age 70 of Idabel, OK passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Texarkana, TX. She was born on December 12, 1950 in Idabel, OK. Ann married the love of her life, Charlie Johnson in DeQueen, AR on April 18, 1969.

She was a Registered Nurse, working at McCurtain Memorial and Wadley Regional. Ann retired as an OB nurse from McCurtain Memorial Hospital.

Ann was sassy but always compassionate and caring for others. She enjoyed traveling and pampering herself by getting her hair and nails done. Ann was a Christian and a Baptist by Faith. She loved spending time with her family and was totally devoted to them, especially her husband, Charlie.   

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Allison; her son Kenny Johnson; and a special grandmother, Pearl Worley.

Ann is survived by her husband, Charlie Johnson of the home; her mother, Fay Allison Chapman of Idabel, OK; daughter Melissa Johnson Hale of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Christa Johnson, Cody Johnson, Katelyn Ann-Marie Johnson, Kayla Hale and Marvin Zachary "Zak"  Hubbard; great-grandchildren, Lincoln Johnson and Parker Johnson; sister, Sandy Roberts and Kenneth of Idabel, OK; brother-in-law, Don Johnson and Kathy of Broken Bow, OK; sister-in-law, Mary Simmons of Atlanta, TX; a special nephew, Jason Roberts of Valliant, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the White Family Chapel with Pastor David Flanary and Robert Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday September 11, 2021 at the funeral home.
