Annie Pauline Covington

Annie Pauline “Sally Jackson” Covington, age 99 of Redland Community, OK passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Ashdown, AR. She was born on May 30, 1922 in Redland Community, OK, the daughter of Ben Carrol and Rusha Deprease Thomas.

Pauline was a homemaker and an accomplished cook who could make beans and cornbread taste like steak. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, deer hunting, and taking care of her cows. She lived in McCurtain County most of her life, and was a lifelong member of the Redland Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, T.J. Jackson, and Clint Covington; and her son, Steve Jackson.

Pauline is survived by her children; Betty Jackson Seay and Mark, of Texarkana, TX. Tom Jackson and Lou Ann, of Redland, OK, and Danny Keith Jackson, of Idabel, OK; her grandchildren; Carolyn Castine and Steve, of Texarkana, TX, Ronnie Seay and Kathy, of Texarkana, TX, Paula Delozier and Paul, of Goodwater, OK, Julie Wyatt, of Redland, OK, Eric Jackson and Tracey, of Pollard, OK, Kietha Beth Cochran and Michael, of Redland, OK; her great grandchildren; Angela Bohnam and Keith, Elizabeth MonForte’ and CJ, Mathew Delozier and Alli, Emilee Delozier, Hannah Delozier, Megan Wyatt, Jessie Wyatt, Haven Jo Cochran, Blaze Cochran, Opal Seay, Samantha Seay, Erica Shirey and Cutler, Steven Jackson and Carlea Jackson; and her great, great grandchildren: Harper Bonham, Brennan Bonham, Charlotte MonForte’, and Everett Delozier; special friend; Marlena Moyor, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Redland Church of Christ in Redland, OK with Victor Balagbagan and Aubrey Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at the Redland cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the funeral home.
