Audrey Denise (Pond) Rangel, age 57 passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2023 at Idabel, OK. She was born August 23, 1965 in Idabel, OK, the daughter of Anthony and Virginia “Ginger” Pond.
Denise always took care of everyone. She was a hard worker with a heart of gold. Anyone who has ever met her has always said she is the sweetest, nicest, kindest person they ever met. Denise cherished her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Virginia “Ginger” Pond; paternal grandparents, J.D. and Lucy (Magar) Pond; maternal grandparents, Katherine and Ed Thorpe Frank Shannon; aunts, Audrey Pond, Carolyn Chapman, Sue Owens; uncles, Johnny Shannon, Kenneth Pond and Donald Coleman.
Denise leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Benito Rangel Hernandez; children, Dora Pond of Idabel, OK, Amanda and Jed Dever of Idabel, OK, Kenneth Rangel and Jana McConnell of Holly Creek, Ben and Kimber Hernandez of Idabel, OK, Marcela Hernandez and Marvel of Idabel, OK, Frank Rangel of Idabel, OK and James Hernandez of Holly Creek; brothers, James and Tracy Pond of Broken Bow, John and LeaAnna Pond of Texas, Kimberly and Jimmy Kirkpatrick of Haworth, OK, Cyrstal Pond of Broken Bow, OK; step-brothers, Curt Wheeler of Idabel, OK, David and Vian Singleton of Broken Bow, OK, Jason and Amanda Cole of Texas; step-sister, Karen and Jeff Bragg of Texas; step-mothers, Helen Coffman of Idabel, OK, Lois Pond of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Kyle, Audrey, Kodda, Quince, Maliah, Nariyah, Alyzia, Joey, Jr., Zamiah, Joah, Danysia, Joetis, Sabian, Adaiyah, Jayden, Percilain, Jaylon, Bonnie, Josiah, Julia, Sincere, Izabella, Journee, Kathryn, Emeriee, Anthony and Ashanti; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Dr. L.E. Coles officiating.
