Beckey Lynn Griffin

           Beckey Lynn Griffin, age 51, of Idabel, OK passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 in Idabel, OK. She was born on April 4, 1968 in New Boston, TX to Harvey Joe Griffin and Thelma Jewel Butler Griffin.

            Beckey married Johnnie Lee Holt on February 14, 1994 in Coalgate, OK. She moved to Idabel several years ago from Ada, OK. Beckey worked as a CNA for 17 years. She enjoyed drawing, writing, and watching wrestling with her family.

            She was preceded in death by her daughter Shareka Kendrell Ricks; brother, Billy Wayne Bowline, Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David & Darlene Holt; brother-in-law, James Brown and grandmothers, Nancy Griffin and Myrtle Griffin.

            Beckey is survived by her husband, Johnnie Lee Holt, of Idabel, OK; father, Joe and Lou Griffin, of Durant, OK; mother, Thelma Griffin of Colgate, OK; son; Kenneth Ricks and fiancé, August Cantrell of Broken Bow, OK; daughter, Lakendra Ricks, of Idabel, OK; brothers, Jerry and Annie Griffin of Tampa, FL, Randy Joe and Kelly Griffin of Tampa, FL, Kendall Peek of Millerton, OK and Frankie Peek of Hugo, OK; brother-in-law, David and Jackie Holt, of Coalgate, OK; sisters; Ginger and Louis German, of Idabel, OK, Pasha and Richard Palmer, of Forrest Grove, Ok., and Michelle Bowline, of Coalgate, OK; 11 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

            Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday January 17, 2020 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Kyle Jordan officiating.  Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

            The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the funeral home.
