Billy "Bill" Ray Griffin

Billy Ray Griffin, age 83 passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at his home in Garvin, OK. He was born on July 25, 1940 in Daisy, OK. On June 15, 1982 Bill married the love of his life Pauline McDaniel in Wilburton, OK.

Bill moved back to the home place in 2001. He enjoyed watching westerns, and driving his Mac truck. He enjoyed racing cars when he was younger. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill is survived by his wife, Pauline McDaniel Griffin of the home; his children and their spouses, Sam and Connie Griffin of Oklahoma City, OK, Billy and Mary Griffin of Moore, OK, Wanda and James Ives of Valliant, OK, Phyllis and Allen Winkley of Cove, AR, Linda and Johnny Garrett of Smithville, OK, Sherry and Dion Ratliff of Bristol, VA, Shirley and Steve Anderson of Mt. Herman, OK; siblings, Faye Allison of Helena, OK, Leonard Janeson, Myldrid Russel of Houston, TX; 17 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; he is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the White Family Chapel.
