Bobbie Stapp Norris

Bobbie Ruth Stapp Norris, 78, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 18, 2022. Bobbie was born in Oleta, OK on March 16, 1944. She was a lifelong resident of McCurtain County Oklahoma. Bobbie was a devoted, caring, loving, and selfless mother and grandmother. Her family was always the most important thing in her life. Bobbie was the type of person who would go to great lengths to make sure her family was taken care of. She will be deeply missed by her entire family.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents Merlin and Mattie Henson; her husband Floyd Stapp; her sisters Mary Harmon, Nina Cockrill, Pat Watterson and June Horton; her brothers, Wiley Henson and Chester Henson.

She is survived by her husband Henry Norris of Idabel, OK; sons Travis Stapp of Idabel, OK and Tracy and Leslie Stapp of Hot Springs, AR, Joseph Norris of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Christina Ferguson and Tracy Harris of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, David Stapp of Idabel, OK, Jazik Stapp of Hot Springs, AR, Shelby Stapp of Hot Springs, AR and Joshua Stapp of Hot Springs, AR, in addition to several other extended family members that knew her as “Grandma”; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Rufe Cemetery in Rufe, OK.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the funeral home.
