Carol Ann Pope

Carol A. Pope, age 72 of Idabel, OK passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Paris, TX. She was born on September 1, 1949 in Paris, TX, to Leo Edward and Ruth Roland Ammons. Carol married James Pope on April 15, 1967 in Paris, TX.

Carol loved being around her family especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a good friend to many. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church. Carol was surrounded by her family when she passed away.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Ruth Ammons.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory her husband, James Pope of the home; daughter, Traci Johnson and husband Guy of Bethal, OK; brother, Tommy Ammons of Garvin, OK; sister, Susan Jamison of the Forest Grove Community; grandchildren, Justin Robnett and wife, Leanne of Idabel, OK and Landon Dollar and wife, Rhonda of Idabel, OK; great-grandchildren, Kamdynn Wilson, Hayden Lambert, Curtis Cox; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the White Family Chapel.
