Caroline Jones

Caroline Yvonne Jones, age 81 passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Broken Bow Health and Rehab in Broken Bow, OK. She was born on July 15, 1943 in Idabel, OK the daughter of Charley and Lou Ellen Jones.

Caroline was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was a proud Secretary of the Foresty Service for thirty years in Idabel, OK.

Caroline was a vibrant spirit who loved dancing and seeking out new adventures. She cherished every moment spent with her kids, grandkids, and great-great-grandkids. Big family gatherings were her favorite, where laughter filled the air and stories were shared. Caroline’s love for her family was immeasurable, and she made it a point to create unforgettable memories with each person she held dear.

Above all, she had a special love for Danny. Their bond reflected a true beauty of love and companionship. Caroline believed in cherishing those you love, reminding everyone around her, “Don’t let your most loved ones walk away”.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Jones, Sr.; mother, Lou Ellen Jones; late husband, Jerrel Pugh; mother-in-law, Cleo Pugh; sons; Cary Pugh, Jerry Ray Pugh, Larry Pugh; grandson, Angelo Tushka; brother, Charley George Jones, Jr. and Best Friend, Glenda.

Caroline leaves to cherish her memory her granddaughters, Wendy and Ace Barnes, Jamie and Manuel Henriquez, Shaina and Michael Hampton, Kayla and Colby Osheim, Crystal Pugh; great-grandchildren, Katelynn Smith, Gage Smith, Havean Smith, Tatum Barnes, Destini Gill, Hunilia Gill, Kaven Gill, Slade Coleman, Cayman Hampton, Kamarah Boswell, Leah Watson, Kendan Pugh, Kason Carden, Haylee Wilkerson, Paizlee Wilkerson, Jonathan Wilkerson, Jr.; nephew, Paul Kevin Jones and wife, Connie Jones; great-nephew, Joshua Jones; sisters-in-law, Linda Kay Prim, Neta Pugh, Patti Pugh; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 31, 2025 at the funeral home.
