Cecil Ayers

Cecil Ayers, age 92 of Sawyer, OK passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 in Idabel, OK. He was born on November 5, 1928 in Idabel, OK, the son of Lee Andrew and Mary Ayers.

Cecil lived most of his life in the area, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and just living life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; his parents; and several other loved ones.

Cecil is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law; Patricia and Dennis Ray, Susan and Earl McGowen, and Jeanette and Tommy Burris; grandchildren, Kim Spencer, Laura Wimberly, Raymond McGowen, Steven McGowen, Bryan Burris, Carrie Burris and Andrew Burris, 21 great grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren,  several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Holly Creek Cemetery in the Holly Creek Community, OK.
