Charles "Charlie" Harold Smith

Charles “Charlie” Harold Smith, age 60, of Haworth passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, in Plano, TX. He was born April 9, 1965, in Idabel, OK, the son of C.H. and Mary Jo Smith.

Charlie was known for his willingness to help others, often seen mowing yards for neighbors and friends. His kind heart made a significant impact in his community.

He also found joy in simple pleasures, like going to the grocery store where he would often strike up conversations and brighten someone’s day. Charlie will be remembered for his legacy of kindness and service to his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, C. H. Smith; mother; Mary Jo Posey and step-father, George Posey.

Charlie leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Lloyd Smith of Idabel, OK; sisters, Cynthia Smith of Idabel, OK, Jody Cathey of Haworth, OK; aunt, Elvie Knighten of Bokhoma, OK; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 23, 2025 at White Family Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Bokhoma Cemetery.
