Connie Sue Compton

Connie Barr Compton, age 72 passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. She was born on February 28, 1952, the daughter of Burton and Rae Barr.

Connie was a dedicated employee with the United Stated Postal Service in Idabel, OK for over thirty years. Her many hobbies included searching out a good garage sale, thrifting, going to concerts and getting out and talking with her many friends and family. Connie loved her family and thoroughly enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Rae Barr; daughter, Kelly Compton.

Connie is survived by her husband, Ronnie Compton of the home; daughter, Kaci Compton Roberts and Jason of Valliant, OK; sister, Karen Pickens of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Shali Compton, Raelan Bailey, Jaydan Bailey, Brayden Roberts, Taylor Waller; great-grandchildren, Faithlynn Bailey, Briar McMikel, Tatum Waller and Berkley Waller; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bob Stuart officiating. Interment followed at the Valliant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the chapel.
