Corbin A’ Sean Cooper was born in Texarkana, TX on January 20, 2002, to Corey Cooper, Sr. and Rashena (Clayton) Winston. Corbin attended Idabel Public Schools through elementary, middle and high school. He also attended Nashville High School but later returned to Idabel High School to graduate in 2020. Corbin played basketball and was an outstanding football player. His beloved Warrior football family declared him the “Cardiac Kid” on his amazing senior year football season. He enjoyed playing video games, traveling, spending time with his family and friends, competing with his brothers and his biggest accomplishment was raising his namesake Corbin, Jr affectionately known as CJ. He loved his siblings and held a special bond with his baby sister A’Niyah.
Corbin was preceded in death by his brother, Tre’ Bian Clayton. His maternal grandmother, Anna Clayton. Paternal grandmother, Clarice Johnson, maternal great grandparents Lorenzo & Jimmie Williams, maternal uncle Daryle Clayton, and paternal great grandfather, James Broussard.
He leaves to cherish his memory his only child, Corbin Cooper, Jr (CJ), father Corey Cooper, Sr (Shawanna) of Nashville, Ark ; mother Rashena Winston (Lameko) of Idabel, Ok; Siblings Keironte’(OKC), Corey Jr (OKC), A’Niyah (Idabel), Cortez, & Corshawn (Nashville, Ark); paternal grandparents Alonzo Cooper (Virgie) (of Idabel, OK); maternal grandfather R.D. Clayton, Sr (Idabel, Ok) & paternal great grandmother, Lillie Broussard (Broken Bow, OK). He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at First Baptist Church Westside. Interment will follow at the Williamston Cemetery.
