David Lee Smith

            David Lee Smith, age 81 passed this life Sunday, April 18, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Idabel, OK. David was born on April 10, 1940 in Cerrogordo, OK, the son of Jessie Bailey Smith and Edna Roden.

            David was a quiet man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and working on old cars and appliances. His favorite pastime was going to auctions. He loved spending time with his family and the memories that he shared with them.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Willie Roden, mother of his children, Marjorie Smith and grandson, Michael Lynn Smith.

            David is survived by his wife; Shirley Smith of the home; two sons, Karry Smith of Oklahoma City, OK, Wesley Smith of Idabel, OK; daughter, Diana Dudal of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Karryjohn Smith, Saresa Smith, John Wesley Smith, Jimmy Ray Smith, Andrew Smith, Darlina Johnson, Khristen Sawatzky, Michael Dudal; fifteen great-grandchildren several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

            Services will be private.
