Dee Storey

Chlora Dee Storey, age 92 longtime resident of the Pleasant Hill Community passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 in Idabel, OK. She was born on January 16, 1930 in Willow Springs, OK, the daughter of Scott and Era Belle Williams. Dee married Luke Storey on June 18, 1946 in DeQueen, AR.

Dee was a homemaker. She enjoyed hummingbirds, working crossword puzzles, Christian romance books and watching Hallmark Movies. Dee was also an avid collector of snowmen.

Dee was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. She served several years as a Pastor's wife at Methodist Churches where her husband served as Pastor. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luke Storey; daughter, Gwen Storey; sisters, Bernard Harcrow, Betty Austin, Doris Scroggins; brothers, Fred Williams, Perry Williams and Medford Williams.

Dee is survived by her sons, Keith Storey and Mary of Durant, OK, Scott Storey and Sandra of Pleasant Hill Community, OK, Rick Storey and Anna of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren, Melissa Warmath and Jeff, Amanda Tonubbee and Ricky, Stephanie Fegett and Chuck, Scott Steven Storey, Sky Storey and Ashley; sisters, Linda Whitten and Sonny of Idabel, OK and Sue Kennedy of Idabel, OK; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will take place from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 2, 2022 at White Family Funeral in Idabel, OK with Scott Storey officiating. Interment will follow at the Harris Cemetery.
