Dennis Doyle Gilley

Dennis Gilley, age 60 of Idabel, OK passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at McKinney, TX. He was born on October 5, 1961 in Mena, AR, the son of AD and Virginia Brown Gilley.

Dennis owned and operated small businesses including, Gilley's Idabel Iron and Metal, Twin City Muffler and Smoke's Smoker and also was a Journeyman HVAC Technician. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and was an avid reader. Dennis was affiliated with the Baptist Faith and loved spending time with family and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mark Gilley; and sisters Linda Gilley and Vicki McDaniel.

Dennis is survived by his sons, Ryan Gilley and Lisa of Diana, TX, Devin Gilley and Allison and Shilo Burgess and Jade all of Idabel, OK; step-daughter, Genny Snider and Brad of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Casen Gilley and Gavin Gilley both of Diana, TX, October Gilley and Trace Burgess both of Idabel, OK; a sister, Karen Tapley and Tommy of Haworth, OK; his former wife, Dawn Bourne of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at 600 pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK.
