Dennis B. Ward

Dennis was born to Margaret Ella and Azza Lewis on December 23, 1972.   He is preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Azza Ward, brother Alford Ward, niece Chanda Ward and nephew Jess Nash. 

He is survived by his wife, Julie Marie Ward, children Kirstin Ward and I'Niyah Hornburger, Austin Ward, Tristin Ward, Nathaniel Ward, Izac Combrink, Patrick and Michelle Dillard, John and Deanna Tidmore, Colten Batchelor and Michael Donaldson. Siblings, Elaine and Tom Mooney, Thomas and Linda Ward, Libby and Roger Balch, Jimmy Ward, Cindy and Jessie Willis, Sondra and Jessie Nash, and Charles Ward. numerous nieces, nephews, and friends and extended family members Jeff Burke, Kevin Peevy and Anthony Hendon. 

Dennis was a charismatic soul with a mischievous spirit.  He was the proverbial life of the party with his wit, sarcasm, and infectious laugh.  He was an avid gamer and enjoyed watching the food network.  Dennis worked in the food industry many years as a Sonic Manager before his calling as a nurse.  He enjoyed his time as a registered nurse before his failing health forced him into an early retirement.  He had a strong faith and hunger for the word of God unmatched by many.  His happiest moments were with his grandchildren he affectionally called tater tots.  He touched many lives on his walk in this world and his dearly missed. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Good News Fellowship in Broken Bow. Interment will follow at Broken Bow City Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
