Dianne Young Fairless

Dianne Young Fairless, age 76 of Smithville, Oklahoma, died peacefully on August 1, 2025 at her family home with her children, grandchildren and son-in-law by her side. She was born on October 8, 1948 in Tom, Oklahoma, the daughter of Weedia and Rusty Green.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and wife. Dianne was known for her fishing and hunting adventures. She was not your average housewife. She lived life to the fullest each and every day.

Dianne was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Edward Young, her parents, a brother, Butch Green, and sisters Inez Lisenby and Bonnie Green.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Angel Fairless and husband Loyd, and Kathy Miller and husband Michael.  Her grandchildren Kyle and Alicia Gibson, and Grayson Fairless, three great-grandchildren, Beau Gibson, Willow Jackson, Aspen Gibson, and her siblings Irvin Pond and Perry Pond. Husband Coy Fairless and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Bypass Church of Christ with Pastor Audie Dawson officiating.
