Doodle Lorraine

Clarkson L. “Doodle” Lorraine entered into his heavenly home on January 22,2021, surrounded by his family, at the age of 82. Doodle was born in Battiest, OK to Aline (Roan) Lorraine and Cornelius Lorraine.

Doodle was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed his church family.

He graduated from Idabel High School. Doodle was a pipeline welder, certified pipeline inspector and former owner/operator of Idabel Livestock Commission. Doodle was a rancher and knew his horses and cattle.

Doodle was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, C.H. and Mamie Roan, his parents, Aline (Roan) Lorraine and Cornelius Lorraine, and one brother, Buck Lorraine.

Doodle leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Phyllis, of 44 years; one son, Clark Lorraine and wife, Karen of Idabel, Ok.; Doodle also had two grandsons, Seth Lorraine and wife, Erin of Broken Bow, Ok., and Braden Lorraine of Broken Bow, Ok; Two granddaughters, Macey Huffman of Idabel and Morgan Huffman of Soper, Ok.; Doodle was blessed by three great grandchildren and one on the way; Doodle also leaves behind two sisters, Peggy LaFave, of Shreveport, LA. and Ann Dennington, of Waskom, Tx. He is also survived by a special friend and caregiver, Brenda Keeney, and his faithful companion, Oreo; Doodle will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 at White Family Funeral Home Chapel 6:00 pm to 8 pm.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021, at Trinity Baptist Church in Idabel, OK., with Bro. Bob O’Neal and Bro. Don Myers Officiating.

Interment will be held at Canfield Cemetery.
