Dorthy A. Farley

Dorthy Farley, age 90 passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at her home in the Holly Creek Community. She was born December 12, 1933 in Haworth, OK, the daughter of John and Willie Agnes Fiedler. On September 11, 1960, Dorthy married William Farley in the Methodist Church in the Harris Community.

She was an avid gardner and if she couldn’t grow it, it couldn’t be grown. She enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family and was always doing for others. Dorthy was a devoted mother who relished in loving and caring for her family. She was a member of the Golden Baptist Church in Golden, OK and a resident of the area since moving here in 1989 from California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William Fiedler and Joseph “Sonny” Fiedler.

Dorthy leaves to cherish her memory her husband, William Farley of the home; daughter, Annette Gadomski and husband, Gary of Indianapolis, IN; son, Joseph Farley of Holly Creek, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Louise Fiedler of Idabel, OK; grandson, John Minick; step-granddaughter, Tracy Gadomski other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Broken Bow City Cemetery with Rev. Steve Buchanan officiating.
