Eva Briley

            Eva Lee Briley, age 96, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home in Idabel, OK. She was born on March 8, 1924 in Harrison, AR, the daughter of Lon and Helen Martin Timmons.

             Eva was the secretary for the Idabel First Baptist Church for many years. For several years she was a very active Pink Lady at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. Eva was an avid reader and was very artistic. She loved spending time with her family and had lived in Idabel since 1968 coming from Nowata, OK.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles G. Briley; brother, David Timmons and a sister, Chlorene Cooper.

             Eva is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Melanie Briley of Oklahoma City, OK and Tim Briley of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Ian Hall, Ethan Blanton and Lydia Blanton all of Oklahoma City, OK, Vadim Briley of Norman, OK and Amy Gentry of Shreveport, LA; a brother, Joe Timmons of Little Rock, AR; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

             A private inurnment will be held in Tulsa, OK at a later date.
