Eva Murphy

Eva Mae Murphy, age 85 passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Paris, TX. She was born on January 29, 1937, the son of George and Florence Coffey Hallum.

She enjoyed canning and tending to her flowers in her yard. Eva loved and cherished her family. She was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County and a member of the Garvin Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Murphy; brothers, Ernest Hallum and Charlie Hallum; sisters, Georgia Settles, Alice Hancock, Lorene Austin, Myrtle McCleskey and Nellie McCleskey.

Eva is survived by her daughter, Eva Michelle Murphy of Idabel, OK; sister, Betty Bunn of Garvin, OK; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Forest Hill Cemetery in the Forest Grove Community with Steve Endsley officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the funeral home.
