F.J. "Bitsy" Kupke

F.J. "Bitsy" Kupke, age 90 of the Redland Community, OK passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Texarkana, TX. He was born on December 8, 1930 in the Redland Community, OK, the son of Otto and Vera Clampet Kupke.

Bitsy was the plant manager for Thweatt Concrete Plant for over 40 years. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was younger. An avid gardener he always raised a large vegetable garden. Bitsy was a dedicated supporter and volunteer for the Hand to Hand Food Pantry. He had a strong work ethic and was always finding a new task to complete but what he loved most was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Charlene Kupke; and a brother, Luther Kupke.

Bitsy is survived by his sons, Kenneth and Rhonda Kupke, Billy and Lois Kupke and Mike and Catina Kupke all of the Redland Community, OK; a brother, Fred Kupke of Torrance, CA; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; his fur baby, "Rowdy"; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the White Family Chapel with Bro. Joe Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at the Redland Cemetery.
