Fay (Benton) Batson

Margaret Fay Batson, age 91 of Broken Bow, OK passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Hugo, OK. She was born March 10, 1932 in the Lukfata Community, OK, the daughter of Herbert and Bessie Benton.
 
Fay was an accomplished homemaker and wonderful cook. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting. Fay was a devoted  mother who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Broken Bow, OK and a lifetime resident of the area. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Karen Batson; granddaughter, Kylie Grace; brothers, Leslie Benton and Charles Benton; and a sister, Laura Belle Batson.

Fay leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Rick Batson of Idabel, OK, Charles Batson and Jeanie of Ft. Towson, OK; daughters, Glenda Batson of Broken Bow, OK and Diana Cook of Hugo, OK; brothers, Eugene Benton of Broken Bow, OK; sister, Imogene Laster of Broken Bow, OK; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Mike Durham officiating. Interment will follow at the Sweet Home Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the funeral home.
