Fayrene (Baggs) Christian

Fayrene Baggs Christian of Pickens, OK, in the early morning hours of October 17, 2023 was welcomed by our Lord and Savior to begin her Heavenly life. She was born on December 5, 1938 to David and Ruby Baggs. On May 11, 1956 Fayrene married Lavoy Christian, they were married for 48 years until his passing.

Fayrene loved the Lord and her family she showed it in her own way. She always put others before herself, if her family had a need, she did without. In her time of suffering, she still worried about her family and what they were going through.

Fayrene is preceded in death by her parents; husband Lavoy; granddaughter Amy Christian; brother, Marvin Baggs; sister, Melba Sullivan. 
She is survived by her son, Keith & Lena Christian of Valliant, OK; daughter, Sandy and Craig Smith of Norman, OK; son, Gerald Christian of Pickens, OK; daughter, Dana Christian of Idabel, OK and daughter, Laura and Richard Lewis of Idabel, OK; grandchildren Dakota, Shane, Sydney, Donovan, Jeremy, Jessica, Heath, Hoyt, and McHaley, along with several great-grandchildren; her brother, Chuck Baggs and Wife Donna of Pickens, OK; her sister, Wilma Kincaid and husband, Harold of Redland; her sister, Linda Butler of Pickens, her brother, Hank Baggs and wife Rene of Tulsa, OK; her sister-in-law, Retta Baggs of Pickens, OK; pallbearers: Dakota Christian, Shane Christian, Donovan Smith, Heath Christian, Hoyt Christian, Richard Lewis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Pickens Free Holiness Church. Interment will follow at the County Line Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the White Family Funeral Chapel.
