Florence Fisher

          Florence “Elaine” Fisher of the Redland Community passed away on December 22, 2022 in Durant, OK. Elaine was born August 27, 1966 in Bakersfield, CA, the daughter of Glen and Virginia McDaniel. She was one of four children: Elaine, Glen, Jr., Virgil and Jennifer.

          She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia; a brother, Virgil and a baby daughter, Robin McDaniel.

Elaine is survived by her father, six children, Billy Ray Statler of Las Vegas, NV, Virginia Amanda Baca of Texas, Barbara Marie Mcmonigle of Bristow, OK, Steven Mathew Catalan of Bristow, OK, Amy Elaine Catalan of Bristow, OK; her partner, Greg Farley of Redland, OK; seven grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

          Elaine and Greg moved to the Redland Community in 2015. She worked in the home healthcare system until her health got worse. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, being outdoors, garage sales and auctions. She was proud to be welcomed into the Choctaw Community family and loved playing chair volleyball when health permitted.

             A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the White Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in Bristow, OK at a later date.
