Georgia Mae Lewis

Georgia Mae Lewis, age 97 passed from this world on Monday, December 2, 2019 in Idabel, OK. She was born January 7, 1922 in Boswell, OK to Richard and Fannie Austin Rolen. 

Georgia was a homemaker. A talented gardener, she always raised a large vegetable garden. She enjoyed fishing, was a longtime member of Regional Church and was a lifetime resident of the Idabel area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clarence Lewis Sr.; sons, Altus Lewis, Harold Lewis and Curtis Lewis; and a son-in-law, Butch Castleman. 

Georgia leaves to cherish her memory her son, Clarence “Scooter” Lewis, Jr. and Rose of Idabel, OK; daughter, Bobbie Castleman of Hobbs, NM; daughters-in-law, Wanda Lewis and Alene Lewis of both of Idabel, OK; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the White Family Chapel with Bro. Elwayne Schaeffer and Bro. Kyle Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery.
