Gerald DeWayne Meashintubby, age 59 passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. He was born on March 21, 1965 in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Joseph Meashintubby and Rowena Hardy.

Gerald said “God first, family second and OU football”. He was an avid OU football and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a servant to mankind, helping anyone he could especially the homeless. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, his job and had so much love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and adopted parents, Adeline and Wilson Battiest; daughter, Tara Dawn Meashintubby; sisters, Joyce Ann Meashintubby, Mary Louise Battiest-Apodaca, Florina Fairless; his brothers, Raymond Baker and Tearance Battiest; and one grandson.

Gerald is survived by his sons; Terry Rickner, Gerrard Blackowl-Fairless, Cheyenne Blackowl-Fairless; daughters, Jasmine Skye Jade Blackowl-Fairless; brothers, Jimmy Dale Meashintubby, Daryl Meashintubby; sisters, Shirley Blackmon and Darrell, Donna Hardy, Glenda Tiger, Rhonda Churchwell, Sherry Tiger; grandchildren; special nephew, James Eric Battiest; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Trent and Christy Brown officiating.
