Gerald Dean Tunnell

Gerald Dean Tunnell, age 82 passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at his home in Moon, OK. He was born on May 10, 1941 in Bokhoma, OK, the son of Rock and Lillian Tunnell.

Gerald was a logger and began working in the log woods at the age of 7. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Gerald was a member of the Bokhoma Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of the area.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jerry Wayne Tunnell and Wilford Dale Tunnell.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Georgie Tunnell of the home; daughter, Darlene England and Morris of Moon, OK; a son, Mickey Tunnell and Felicia of Bokhoma, OK; brother, Jimmy Don Tunnell and Sally of Moon, OK; grandchildren, Daniel Tunnell of Bokhoma, OK, Brandon England of Moon, OK and Stephen England and Erica of Pleasant Hill Community, OK; great-grandchildren, Kloey Tunnell, Zayne Tunnell, Rylee Tunnell and Everly England; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the Bokhoma Baptist Church with Bro Johnny Proctor officiating. Interment will follow at the Bokhoma Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the funeral home.
