Gidgetta “Jetta” Annette White was born on July 27, 1970 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Cecil and Sharlette Donaldson. She married Wade White on June 12, 1988.
Jetta was known to friends and family, by several names; whether it be Wife, Daughter, Mom, MiMi, Aunt Jetta, Sister, or Jett. Everyone will agree she wore each hat to the fullest. She enjoyed all the children in her life more than words can describe, they were given a nickname to suit their individual personalities. Jetta’s hobbies included mud rallies, motorcycle rallies, kayaking, fishing, and entertaining friends and family (where she enjoyed being the life of the party) but her true paradise was Key West, FL. Even though she felt her soul belonged by the sea, her heart was long rooted in McCurtain County OK where she resided.
Jetta chose nursing as a career and excelled in the field earning an LPN degree and furthering her education to a Home Health Administrator, where she continued to go above and beyond not only for her patients, but to anyone in need. Her door was always open, her phone was always on, and she never met a stranger.
Her personality could be described as bold, outgoing, and above all original. From her fashion sense to her lifestyle, she is known to be one of a kind. Jetta was considered the anchor of the family, everyone has leaned on her at some point for advice, knowledge, or a shoulder to cry on. Her place of worship was “The Church” where she enjoyed fellowship, sermons, and above all praise and worship.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Florabell Donaldson, Gilbert Donaldson, Louis Harrison and father-in-law, Hollis White.
Jetta is survived by her husband, Wade White; children, Chance & Laci Dickey and Brett White; grandchildren, Gary (little man), Alex (Ed), Alya (Gurtie) Dickey; parents, Cecil and Sharlette Donaldson; grandparent, Bernice Harrison; siblings, Rex & Misty Donaldson, Rindi & Ryan McKinney, Josh Donaldson and Porscha Stephens; mother in law, Virginia White; brother-in-law, Michael and Phillis White; nephews and nieces, Dallas & Dylan Donaldson, Blake and Jaycee Coffman, Elmer and Ethel McKinney, Jayden and KaseLynn Donaldson, Little Bit Stevens, Blaine and Dakota White, Kayceyann and Tinley White; beloved grandfurbaby, "L"; along with a host of extended family and friends.
