Glenn Maxwell McKelvy

Glenn Maxwell McKelvy, age 84 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his home in Haworth, OK. He was born on June 24, 1939 in Prescott, AR, the son of Roy Benjamin McKelvy and Bertha Mae McBride McKelvy.

Glenn worked in saw mills where he was a Master Saw Filer. He enjoyed collecting old model cars and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a member of the Valliant Assembly of God Church and had lived most of his life in this area. 

He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Reatha Mae McClure McKelvy; a grandson, Robert Berry; and a brother, James Edward McKelvy.

Glenn is survived by his son, Ricky Glenn McKelvey and Joyce of Hamburg, AR; daughters, Terri Lynn Jackson and Tommy of Prescott, AR, Debbie Craig and Lindell of Prescott, AR, Susie Garcia of Haworth, OK, Glenda Berry and William of Maud, TX and Kristi Clampet and Chris of Haworth, OK; special granddaughters who took care of him, Kristina Garcia and Antonia "Buddy" Garcia both of Haworth, OK; his companion and best friend, Old Yeller; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews , other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Scott Stuart and Bro. Virgil Owens officiating. Interment will follow at the Redland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the funeral home.
