Henry Curtis Clark, age 89 passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at his home in Valliant, OK. He was born on October 27, 1930 in Swink, OK, the son of Bill and Beulah Clark. Henry married his wife Faye on January 4, 1949 in Texarkana, AR.
Henry was a farmer/rancher and operated a hay hauling business for several years. He enjoyed square dancing and playing pitch and dominoes with family and friends. Henry was a longtime member of the River Bottom Baptist Church, a former Valliant School Board member and had lived most of his life in McCurtain County.
Henry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had a way of making everyone feel special and he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by parents; a son, Earnest Franklin (Frankie) Clark; sisters, Bertha Williamson, Frankie Lee Miller, Jessie Nell Thorpe and Minnie B Hallum; and a brother, Andy J. Clark.
Henry is survived by his wife of 71 years, Faye Clark of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Wayne Clark and Barbara of Valliant, OK, Johnny Clark and Elizabeth of Valliant, OK and Clint Clark and Andrea Williamson of Idabel, OK, also considered a son, Ike Williamson and Beth of Coalinga, CA; grandchildren, Jason Clark, Lisa Cox, Aimee Allen, Molly McDonald, Marylee Hooten, Savannah Clark, Stephanie Coulter, Stephen Clark and Carter Clark; also considered grandchildren; Lauren Roberts, Trey Crosby, Shalan Prince; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Valliant Assembly of God Church in Valliant, OK with Bro Ronnie Miller and Bro Scott Stuart officiating. Interment will follow at the Valliant Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the funeral home.
