Howard Hairrell, age 58 of Valliant passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on October 27, 1962 the son of J. Howard and Jeanette Lambert Hairrell.
Howard served as a deputy sheriff for McCurtain County for over 24 years. He enjoyed watching his son play Valliant Football. Howard was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He cherished his time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, family, friends and his German Shepard, Aila.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Lambert; step-mother, Lynda Hairrell and grandmother, Irene Grinage.
Howard is survived by his wife, Tracie Hairrell; children; Ashley and Jeffrey Setzer of Salem, OR, Jaime and Kitty Hairrell of Idabel, OK, Brandon and Hannah Hairrell of Valliant, OK; father; J. Howard Hairrell of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Spencer Hairrell of Valliant, OK, Jack Hairrell of Valliant, OK; step-grandchildren, Kadi Lesperance, Maci Lesperance; sisters, Nowita Martin of Idabel, OK, Susie Hairrell of Redland, OK; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the White Family Chapel.
The family will receive friends following the service at Redland Community Center in Redland, OK.
