Jackie (Mitchell) Allen

Jackie Lynn Allen, age 71 of Valliant, OK passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Paris, TX. She was born December 30, 1950 to Herbert Mitchell and Johnnie Marie Magby. Jackie married Francis Allen on July 14, 1968, which would be 54 years happily married. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, memaw, and friend to many.

Jackie worked many years in Home Health and Hospice as a certified Home Health aide, taking exceptional care of all her patients here in McCurtain County. She was a wonderful memaw to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all 11 of them. She loved spoiling them rotten. Never saying no to sweets, but sending them home for mom and dad to wrangle with them. In her younger years, she really enjoyed horseback riding, visiting Beavers Bend, and listening to music at revivals. She had a one in a million personality and always spoke what was on her mind (good or bad for that matter). She was the rock of the family that everyone came to when they just needed someone to talk to.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Mitchell and Johnnie Marie Magby, siblings Sandra Ragsdill, Allan Mitchell, Larry Mitchell. 

Jackie is survived by her husband, Francis Allen; children, Davey & Tasha Allen of Clarksville, TX, Rex & Misty Donaldson of Valliant, OK, Tiffany Hames of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, DJ & Brittany Billy, Dallas & Dylan Donaldson, James “Buckshot” Fulton, Kameron Allen, Dustin and Kaylee Hames; great-grandchildren, Kaedynce, Kristian, Kanyin & Kyzer Billy; many special nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Davey Allen, Kameron Allen, Rex Donaldson, Dylan Donaldson, Buckshot Fulton, DJ Billy, Dustin Hames and Dakota Ragsdill.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the funeral home.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Rufe Cemetery.
