James A. "Jimmy" Cain Obituary

Dr. James A. Cain (Jimmy), age 67 passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital North in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on September 7, 1956 in Idabel, OK the son of Charles (Pete) and Lena Dale Cain.

He was a master wood worker, gunsmith, accomplished musician and avid hunter. He was a man of many talents. Jimmy served his country in the United Stated Air Force for 20 years and finished with the rank of Master Sargent. He was a drill instructor and combat arms instructor. He traveled the world extensively with various jobs.

He had received his Doctorate in Health, Safety and environment. Jimmy was of the Baptist Faith.  He sent out a daily devotion that went out all over the world. Jimmy loved his family and loved everyone and everyone loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles (Pete) and Lena Dale Cain, and mom, Patsy Cain.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Parisha Cain of Thailand; Dad, Bill Lambert of Idabel, OK; sons, Brandon Cain and Elizabeth of Onalaska, Wisconsin, Clint Cain and Sabrina of Las Vegas, NV, Cody Cain and Ashley of Fayetteville, AR; sisters, Charlotte Manuel and Johnny of Idabel, OK, Kelley Thompson and Chip of Garvin, OK, grandchildren, Sydni Cain of Huntsville, AL, Adalyn Cain of Onalaska, WI, Ava Cain of Roxborough, CO, Brody Cain of Roxborough, CO, Riley Cain of Las Vegas, NV, Kaylee Cain of Las Vegas, NV, Logan Cain of Fayetteville, AR, Aspen Cain of Fayetteville, AR; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Redland Cemetery with Bro. Kelly Archey officiating.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 3, 2024 before the service.

Family is requesting in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Redland Cemetery Association. Attention: Billy Kupke 1449 Shinewell Rd. Haworth, OK 74740.
