Jasmyn Renae Nix

Jasmyn Renae Nix, age 20 passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at her home in Atkins, AR. She was born on August 12, 2002 in Wichita Falls, TX. Jasmyn  was a 2020 graduate of Atkins High School.
 
Jasmyn was a baker and enjoyed baking. She was very creative and like to draw as well as being an accomplished writer. Jasmyn loved listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, WD Nix.

Jasmyn is survived by her father and step-mother, Josh and Tina Nix of Converse, TX; mother and step-father, Kandy and BJ Blackwell of Atkins, AR; sisters, Destany Renae Chance of Hector, AR and Kurtlyn Perales of Atkins, AR; step-brothers, Romeo Duncan and Corey Blackwell; step-sisters, Amber Duncan, Starr Medina, Liberty Blackwell, Raven Blackwell and Leah Blackwell; maternal grandparents, Pat and Kurt Routh of Idabel, OK; paternal grandparents, Terry and Cheryl Nix of Broken Bow, OK and Shelly and Frank McKay of Oklahoma City, OK; paternal great-grandmother, Daisy Nix of Broken Bow, OK; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Broken Bow First Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK.

The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the funeral home.
