Jasper Young

Jasper Earl Young, age 76 passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at his home in Goodwater Community, OK. He was born on January 11, 1946 in Haworth, OK, the son of Frank and Velma (Eastman) Young.

Jasper enjoyed traveling in his career as a merchant marine. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. Jasper was a World Traveler, International Playboy and the last of the Big Spenders.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jackie Young and numerous siblings.

Jasper is survived by his son, Charles Ray Young and Tyra of Ingleside on the Bay, TX; daughters, Becky Meyer and James of Brazona, TX, Jackie Green and Weldon of Foreman, AR, Julie Flood and Terry of Goodwater Community, OK; sister, Jean Leur of Victoria, TX; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be private.
