Jerald Ray Ashlock, age 76 passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home in Millerton, OK. He was born on September 7, 1943 in the Red River Bottoms of Southeast Oklahoma, the son of Walter and Lola Ashlock.
Jerald was the last living of eleven children. After attending high school in Valliant, OK, he moved to the Dallas, TX area. On May 31, 1963 he married his soulmate Sue Wallace.
He was a self-employed air conditioning technician and sheet metal mechanic who worked in many different states. He enjoyed traveling and after retiring he moved to Millerton. Jerald enjoyed working in his garden and loved sharing vegetables with friends and neighbors. He liked deer hunting and was happy that Sue liked it too.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Vernon Ashlock; mother, Lola Davis; sisters; Rosa Lee, Hazel, Inez, Corine, Virginia and twin sister, Jeraldine; brothers, Richard, James, Vernon and Arive Joe.
Jerald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sue Ashlock of the home; daughter, Dana; son, Jimmy; granddaughters, Brooke, Cheyenne and Cassidy; grandsons, Jacob, Jimmy and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Conor, Ravyn, Channing Rose and Aryah; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Tim Stuart officiating.
