Jerry Wayne Clark

Jerry Clark of Valliant, Oklahoma passed from this life April 24, 2021 in Idabel, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years 12 days. Born in Garvin, Oklahoma April 12, 1951, the oldest of 4 boys, to Henry C. and Faye B. Clark.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest F. (Frankie) Clark; father, Henry C. Clark; grandparents, William and Beulah Clark and Teet and Bess Williamson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Faye Clark, Valliant; his wife, Barbara of the home, two children, son, Jason (Laura) Clark of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Lisa (Cody) Cox of Idabel, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Sarah James, Nathan James, Jordan Horn, Maggie Clark, Quentin Cox, Breanna Causey and husband Cory, Kiley Cox, 3 great-grandchildren, Kaydence Causey, River Causey and Parker Causey; two brothers, Johnny Clark and Elizabeth of Valliant, OK, Clint Clark and Andrea of Idabel, OK; many nieces, nephews, and a host of many friends and 1969 classmates.

Jerry worked as a salesman his entire life. He sold insurance, water treatment systems and industrial lighting.

He worked tirelessly for the Lord at River Bottom Baptist Church. He served in many capacities including Sunday School Superintendent and Music Leader.

Jerry was known in his family as the baby charmer – Give him a fussy child and he could get them smiling again.

Family visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the funeral home. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the White Family Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Stuart and  Ronnie Miller officiating.
