Jerry Lee England

Jerry Lee England, age 76 of Bokhoma, OK went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Texarkana, TX. He was born on September 13, 1943 in Harris, OK, the son of James Henry England and Mary Jane Hilton England. Jerry married his wife Marie in New Boston, TX on February 10, 1965.

Jerry worked in the timber industry most of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. A talented musician who loved to play music, dance and sing. He was a member of the Bokhoma Community Church and was a lifetime resident of the area. 

Jerry was a devoted husband, father, papaw, brother and friend. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry Lynn England; sisters, Evelyn Jewel, Marie Tucker, Edna Covington and Annie Carter; and a brother, Danny England.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie England of the home; son, Terry Glenn England and Jennifer Combs of Tom, OK; daughters, Tina Marie Clayton and Chris of Foreman, AR and Staci Lee Pena and Landon of Durant, OK; grandchildren, Dina Nicole, Charles Christopher, Marty Alexander, Marina Christian, Dixie Marie, Daisy Lynn, Terry Glenn Jr., Lorelai Grace, Scarlett Reese, and Audrey Kate; great-grandchildren, Karoline Elizabeth, Hank Charles, William Cutter, Kalli Rose, Bristal Dianne, Maddie Lynn, Ava Layne and Layla Ray; brothers, Ricky England and Bonita of Moon, OK, Morris Dale England and Darlene of America, OK and Clint England and Sharon Johnson of Haworth, OK; sisters, Joyce Wade of Bokhoma, OK, Polly Sipes and Sammy of Pleasant Hill, OK and Vada Green and Butch of Moon, OK; a special friend, Kenneth Wayne Alford of Moon, OK; several nieces, nephews , other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro Johnny Proctor and Bro. Chris Clayton officiating. Interment will follow at the Bokhoma Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the funeral home.
