Jerry Dale Womack

Jerry Dale Womack, age 73 passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Garvin, OK. He was born on June 2, 1952, in Harris Community, OK, the son of Archie and Faye Womack.

As a teenager Jerry was a fearless bareback rider who was captivated by the rodeo lifestyle. His abilities in the arena earned him the honor of gracing the cover of Rodeo News Magazine in 1971. Outside the rodeo, Jerry’s adventurous streak continued to the great outdoors with hunting and fishing. He also had a playful side, immersing himself in the world of Nascar racing along with the excitement found in a good video game and his unique hobby of wine making.

Above all, Jerry’s heart belonged to his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather, relishing the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life of over 50 years, Shirley Womack; son, Scottie Womack; parents, Archie and Faye Womack; two brothers, Ed Womack, Jack Womack; sister, Sharon Jones.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Charity Womack Johnson of Broken Bow, OK, Hope Womack of the home, John Manuel Womack of Dallas, TX, Chance Womack of the home; granddaughter, Makayla Caldwell and Wesley of Idabel, OK; grandsons, Dalton Perkins of the home, Scottie Cahill of Garvin, OK, Landon Cahill of Garvin, OK; great-grandchildren, Kimber Caldwell, Kyler Caldwell, Karslyn Caldwell; siblings, P.J. Womack and Jamie and Sandra Hughes and Keith; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the funeral home.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Brent Coffee officiating.
