Jerry Bob Alford

Jerry Bob Alford, age 68 passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Medical City McKinney in McKinney, TX. He was born on July 15, 1956 in Ashdown, AR, the son of Dee and Annie Alford.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing which often took him to his favorite spots where he truly loved being in tune with nature. Jerry Bob was always tinkering and working on various projects. He had a knack for fixing things.

To Jerry Bob family was everything, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was a proud lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

He was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, Ophelia Whisenhunt; brother, Johnny Alford and sister-in-law, Becky Alford.

Jerry Bob leaves to cherish his memory his son, James Alford and Casey of Arkinda, AR; daughters, Rhonda Collins of Pleasant Hill, OK, Nancy Chapman and Brent of Garvin, OK, Miranda Wright of Lehigh, OK; special nephew, Carnell Cooper; brothers, Jimmy Alford of Tom, OK, Jeff Alford and Gayla of Tom, OK; sister, Pam Ridge and Troy of Tom, OK; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Loyd Ridge officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 pm prior to the service on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
