Jimmy Leon Hurst, age 69 passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at his home in Tom, OK.
Jimmy was born on March 17, 1951 in DeKalb, TX, the son of Johnny and Ivolene (Baker) Hurst. He married Rebecca Lang, the love of his life in DeQueen, AR.
He spent as much time as possible reading western books. Jimmy loved a good joke and spent lots of his time tinkering with things around the house that needed any kind of adjustments.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rebecca Hurst; sister, Hester and brother-in-law, Kenneth Murray.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories a son, Derek Hurst of Broken Bow, OK; a daughter, Amber Snell and Ike of Nashville, AR; brother, Paul Spears of DeQueen, AR; sister; Floetta Ledbetter and J.D. of Idabel, OK; four grandchildren several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
