Obituary

Jimmy L. McDaniel, age 77 passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, OK. He was born on January 29, 1946 in Zafra, OK the son of James Burton and Vertie (Williams) McDaniel.

He served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam for two years from 1967 to 1968. Jimmy was a self-employed mechanic and enjoyed working on old cars. He loved spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Burton McDaniel; mother, Vertie W. McDaniel; brothers, Bill McDaniel, Floyd McDaniel, Mutt McDaniel, Burton (Junior) McDaniel, Charles (Poke) McDaniel, Larry Lynn McDaniel; sisters, Faye McDaniel, Willie Hudson, Inez Coleman.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Machille and Chad Broach and their son, Thomas Chad Broach of Hatton, AR, Michael McDaniel of Oklahoma City, OK, Jennifer Sullivan of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Pauline Griffin of Garvin, OK; brothers, Archie R. McDaniel of Broken Bow, OK, Garry Glenn McDaniel of Garvin, OK, Jerry Gwinn McDaniel of Millerton, OK, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at a later date.
