Jimmy Dale “PacMan” Meashintubby, age 61, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024. He was born on April 18, 1963 in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Joseph Meashintubby and Rowena Hardy.
PacMan was one of a kind. He loved his family and their competitive nature. When he, Flo, and Terrance got together to watch a game, you might as well leave the house because they would get so enthusiastic about what was happening. Although he liked playing and watching sports in general, he especially loved football. PacMan was a big fan of the Razorbacks, the Sooners, and the Redskins. He didn’t hide it well when he got upset. You could tell it by the way he wrinkled up his nose. PacMan was an avid fan of all his great-nieces and great-nephews sports and made most of their games.
He enjoyed Rock and Roll including AC/DC, KISS, Guns N’ Roses, the Eagles and Pat Benatar and never missed out on a good game of pool. He was employed by Tysons Foods for over a decade and acquired numerous friends during that time.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Rowena Meashintubby and adopted parents, Adeline and Wilson Battiest; niece, Tara Dawn Meashintubby; sisters, Joyce Ann Meashintubby, Mary Louise Battiest-Apodaca, Florina Fairless; his brothers, Raymond Baker, Gerald Meashintubby, and Terrance Battiest; and one great nephew, Jeremiah Paul Harjo.
PacMan is survived by his brother, Daryl Meashintubby; sisters, Shirley and Darrell Blackmon, Donna Hardy, Glenda Tiger, Rhonda Churchwell, Sherry Tiger; special nephew, James Eric Battiest; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Trent and Christy Brown officiating.
